ABSTRACT
Sound and color have induction in common with each other, which is called synesthesia (Grossenbacher 2001, Schubert,2007). Color music includes music, optics, electronics and other disciplines, and then develops a new musical visual form; the color music playback device has more application in the urban landscape lamp. Now some audio players can only play music, although some of them have light color display, but music and light color have no relevance. Music emotion and the color are difficult to be corresponded with, while some reports show that colors of lights flash randomly, and several others with fixed colors are also carried out by the color of the light according to pre-programmed procedures. But the one with the perfect combination of music and colors, has not been reported. In order to solve the problem of non-correspondence between music and color while the colorful music shows and achieve the effect of color that coincides with the playing music. This paper establishes the corresponding relations between music chords and colors on the basis of research on music and color, through the spectrum analysis, and research on music chords and playing music, then the similar chords with playing music and the corresponding color are entirely determined, by circuit to control light color, at least to achieve real-time accurate music and color matching, and good color rendering of the music.
