ABSTRACT
The liver and diaphragm are both fluid opaque (see Figures 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, and 2-4).
♥ In a normal abdomen, the liver and diaphragm blend together. If air is present between the liver and diaphragm, the diaphragm shows as a fluid-opaque line cranial to the liver (Figure 2-8).
