ABSTRACT

Before we address the question of why the differences between manager and leader are important, a review of what has been discussed so far is necessary. In Chapter 1, Toffler’s concept of how society has evolved to stay abreast of the ever-changing landscape of innovations that impact on how humans work and live was introduced. The reality is that we are always steeped in organizational change when studying human group behavior. The challenge is to balance the valuable lessons humanity has learned throughout the ages with the opportunities afforded to those through recent developments and new innovations.
