ABSTRACT
Through the years, a variety of software has been developed to perform MCMC sampling for models specified in the BUGS language. This chapter describes in detail the alternative implementations and interfaces to BUGS which are currently available and will hopefully clear up some confusion. We give brief examples of how to perform a typical analysis under each interface. All examples elsewhere in this book use WinBUGS 1.4.3, though where appropriate, important differences between BUGS implementations for particular examples have been highlighted.
