ABSTRACT
In this chapter asymptotic expansions for the solutions of linear differential equations will be constructed. The behavior of the solutions for large values of the independent variable will be analyzed using the method of dominant balance. Their behavior for large values of a parameter will be analyzed using the WKB method.
