ABSTRACT
Chapter 6, Ecosystems and Orchestrators, examines the way that innovation and creative enterprise is supported and how that is changing. Education, infrastructure, finance and a strong research base can no longer be seen as separate entities. This chapter looks at how the concept of innovation ecosystems can be established and nurtured in developing regions like SIDS and how clusters can play a vital role in that process.
