ABSTRACT
This entry discusses the design and performance of heat and moisture transfer panels. A heat and moisture transfer panel is made of a semipermeable membrane surface, with a liquid desiccant for the heat and moisture transfer medium. When placed in a space or integrated into the surface of a space, heat and moisture transfer panels are able to simultaneously exchange heat and moisture with the space air, thus simultaneously controlling the temperature and relative humidity of a space.
