ABSTRACT
The Library and Information Technology Association (LITA) is a division of the American Library Association (ALA), established in 1967. Through publishing, programs, training, national conferences, and strategic partnerships, LITA educates, serves, and reaches out to its members, ALA members and divisions, and the entire library and information technology community through the promotion and implementation of library automation and technology.
