ABSTRACT
This entry defines evidence-based management (EBMgt) and its evolution as an approach in public management. Major approaches to producing evidence are examined and assessed. Three examples of evidence-based practice are presented. The entry concludes with the discussion of current prospects and limitations of EBMgt.
