ABSTRACT
It is the goal of this entry to fully describe the duties of the White House Counsel, the controversial issues revolving around its office, and its makeup. The White House Counsel is chosen by the president, and represents the Office of the President. Its role involves an intertwining of policy considerations, political considerations, ethical decisions, and legal decisions.
