ABSTRACT
Moral Development Theory is a construct of stages developed by Lawrence Kohlberg that remains the key measure of level of ethical reasoning used today. It consists of six stages of increasingly complex levels of thinking in deciding what is right and what is wrong, and has been correlated with tens of thousands of studies that link ethical reasoning to ethical intent and ethical behavior.
