ABSTRACT
What is the nature of public policy-making discourse today with regard to biomedical ethics matters? This entry probes that question in political, economic, organizational, procedural, and philosophical terms. It gives particular attention to issues involving genetic modification, stem-cell research, human reproduction, end-of-life management, and policy-making processes and procedures.
