ABSTRACT
The thinking at the start of a project is critical to ultimate success. The startup activities include determining the project scope, developing a project charter, and deciding the type of deliverable expected from the project. Deliverable types can be a product, service, or a result. A typical supply chain project is proposed for reference along with project tasks to define a supply chain strategy. The entry also defines “project” and “progressive elaboration.”
