ABSTRACT
QFD is a tool used to specify major requirements of customers and then evaluate how well product or process designs meet or exceed those requirements. It is used in developing new products, improving existing products, and developing processes to manufacture the products. The entry illustrates the construction of a QFD matrix in considerable detail.
