ABSTRACT
This type of method is commonly used in urban areas where other kinds of channelization are limited or where access for maintenance is restricted.[2] Lined channels generally have a rectangular cross section with vertical sides made of concrete. This type of channelization produces a remarkable decrease of channel roughness, an increase of flow velocity, and, consequently, a decrease of water level for a given discharge.
