ABSTRACT
Evaporation is defined as the water-vapor flux from a surface towards the atmosphere. Evaporation from soil is an important component in soil water and energy balances. The rate of the soil evaporation flux varies commonly from 0kg/m2 day to 15 kg/m2 day (also expressed as the equivalent depth of a water layer covering the surface from 0mm/day to 15mm/day).
