ABSTRACT

Quality assurance might be reflected in how clothing amenities flatter the human form, how the material is sized and the durability of the garment. All of these expectations are valid for their intended product and the environment within which the product will be used. The role that regulatory quality assurance plays in the area of public health and consumer protection is to assure that the science on which regulatory agencies make decisions is based on correct and sufficiently convincing data. The area of credibility control and assurance gets to the heart of whether the analyst used appropriate analytical methodology to obtain the regulatory data on which consumer protection decisions can be properly based. A properly run credibility assurance system strikes a reasonable balance between the resources needed to achieve high-quality work and the need to have high levels of productivity.
