ABSTRACT
Bleeding due to liver disease causing defective or decreased synthesis of coagulation factors II, VII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, prekallikrein, high-molecularweight kininogen, plasminogen, antithrombin III, protein S and protein C can be corrected by replacement of vitamin K or the appropriate coagulation factors.
