ABSTRACT

The geometrical characteristics of a capillary were determined measuring the resistance Ro of the capillary filled with 0.1 M KCl. In this case, surface conductivity may be neglected, and capillary radius r may be determined measuring resistance of the solution Rs and using bulk values Ko of the solution conductivity: r=(L/πKoRs)1/2.
