ABSTRACT

The difference in the value of Llamellae among C12En homologs cannot be explained on the basis of the time-dependent restoring force described above. Therefore the effects of the number of EO units on the surface viscosity were measured in the concentration, where Llamellae attains maximum for each homolog. The surface viscosity values increase

with the increase in EO units remarkably. This suggests that the environment of the internal liquid in lamella for small EO units is more mobile, resulting in lower surface viscosity.
