ABSTRACT

Sustainable utilization of energy mineral resources is an important part and a core issue of sustainable development strategy Taking the optimization of society welfare as system objective, the recoverable reserves of mineral resources as constraints, newly increased recoverable reserves of each phase as the exogenous variable, and the resource exploitation quantity as the endogenous variable, the author established a mathematic model to study the principles of dynamic evolvement of the optimal exhaustion and sustainable utilization of energy recourses. Then the sustainable utilization of coal resource in China is analyzed and simulated using the model. In addition, the optimal control over the exploitation of mineral resources are discussed according to characteristics in different periods of economic development.
