ABSTRACT

Studies on weed interference and control in Trigonella spp. have been confined to one species, T. foenum-graecum, which is the main cultivated species of the genus around the world. Discussion in this chapter, therefore, will review results of research conducted so far in T. foenumgraecum grown mainly for seed production. Throughout the discussion, the name fenugreek, an internationally accepted common name of the species, is used as it is more convenient.
