ABSTRACT
Unlike many industries, there is little need to call for training to be taken seriously in nuclear power operations. It has a long-established precedent in most countries, with regulatory bodies exerting control on the nature and frequency of training. It is an industry that has made major investment in training facilities, with large-scale control room simulators being to the forefront.
