ABSTRACT

In an effort to prepare graduates or competent human resources that can synergize with the world of industry, especially to be able to compete with foreign workers, quality vocational education is the answer for those challenges. This can only be done by revitalizing the vocational education policy. The research method used in writing this article is a descriptive method of analysis by examining and analyzing all sources and data collected related to a dual expertise program. The result of this program in 2016, a total of 12,827 teachers will continue the advanced stages of the dual expertise program by 2017. The impact of this program is expected to fulfill the needs of productive teachers in vocational high schools.
