ABSTRACT

Early Childhood Education is the first school environment education provided for children. It is the most decisive and important foundation for children’s success to enter the next stage of education, as well as forming their character. Therefore, it needs more attention in terms of management and learning implementation that must be done professionally, be standardized, and sustainable. This study aims to determine the Early Childhood Education learning and human resource management in one of the kindergartens in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative with case study approach. Results show that the school’s educators and education personnel planning, recruitment, selection, coaching, development, assessment, appreciation, and dismissal are done very well. The school’s learning management (such as regarding curriculum, activities development and procedures) is also done very well, and although done autonomously, still refers to the standards. Despite being under the supervision of a foundation, the school has authority to independently run its management under the accountability of a principal. In order to improve its quality of human resource management, all personnel should always develop and improve their competence for the school in order to grow and develop properly.
