ABSTRACT
Microsoft Word®, a product of Microsoft Corporation, is available on the Macintosh, MS-DOS, and Windows platforms. This article will discuss the Windows implementation of the product. The Macintosh version of the program is quite similar to the Windows version. The MS-DOS version of the program has been generally displaced by the Windows version of the product. Some individuals may prefer the MS-DOS version, if their systems are unable to support a Windows environment and the fairly large disk storage requirements of Word for Windows.
