ABSTRACT
The Fuzzy Logic Development Kit, FULDEK©, 1 is a fast, user-friendly method to develop fuzzy logiccontrol laws. FULDEK runs on personal computers using the WINDOWS™ 2 operating system. It has a graphical editor for membership functions and rules, and provides a method to test the control rules in a closed-loop simulation. It also features automatic rule generation and fuzzy code generation. Experienced fuzzy logic practitioners as well as novices benefit from the intuitive ordering of menus and functions in FULDEK. This chapter describes key features of FULDEK by presenting a simple example of its operation.
