ABSTRACT
Phase VI will begin the first cycle of the requirement of the Safe Drinking Water Act of 1974 (SDWA) to regulate or reassess 25 additional substances every three years. The target date for these first 25 additional chemicals for final promulgation is January 1991. The regulatory effort will include development of drinking water priority lists (DWPLs) to be published triennially.
