ABSTRACT
There is no universal method of immunization for rat-rat hybridoma production. Many protocols have been published and their diversities reflect the difficulty in finding a good one. In many cases, the experiments have never been repeated and the so-called “new and efficient method of immunization” is often no more than a lucky result which cannot be reobtained because of a number of uncontrolled parameters. However, a number of basic points must be taken into account when a protocol of immunization has to be chosen.
