ABSTRACT
Asian seabass, also called giant sea perch, is an economically important food fish and sport fish in the tropical and subtropical areas of the western Pacific and Indian Ocean countries, including India, Burma, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malay Peninsula, Java, Borneo, Celebes, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Northern Australia, Southern China, and Taiwan.
