ABSTRACT

An increasing number of patients live with cancer, are survivors of cancer, or can develop it throughout their lifetimes. Aesthetic medicine is a branch of medicine that considers the promotion of health as an understanding of psychological, physical, and social well-being, not only as the absence of disease. Aesthetic medicine specialists must be prepared to respond to the needs of patients living with cancer, in the field of prevention and early diagnosis, as well as in the different treatments available depending on the stage at which the patient has reached.
