ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION e female breast is an important feature of the development of secondary sexual characteristics, serving the dual function of an end-organ, inuenced by the endocrine system, and functioning as a secondary sex organ in humans. For this reason, it is frequently modied surgically in order to enhance volume, shape, and position. In this chapter, we will focus on breast aesthetics, and on nonsurgical techniques for improving the appearance of the female breast and/or some breast-associated conditions.1
