ABSTRACT
Analytical science is rising to the challenges of cannabis analysis beyond cannabinoid identification. The presence of bacteria and fungi in medical and recreational Cannabis sativa poses a real threat to patients. As this industry moves toward greater regulation and detection, cannabis testing of microbiological contaminants is critical to ensure a safe and effective product.
