ABSTRACT
The whole 22 kilometers of the North-East Line in Singapore is lined with precast reinforced concrete tunnel lining. In this Paper, the On Site Production of Pre-Cast Concrete Tunnel Segments of the Singapore North-East Line Project Contract C704 is discussed. The paper will outline and describe the various production manufacturing facilities of the C704 factory process, segment design, concrete mix development, materials control and the quality-systems by which the quality of the lining is assured.
