ABSTRACT
The roof cover to the arena is being constructed at the request of the Madrid City Council in order to host the Tennis Master Series Tournament in October 2002. The roof has to be built in an extremely short time and the selected cover proves to be an interesting solution employing steel tubular systems working in two very different modes.
