ABSTRACT
Water supply system for city Kraljevo consists of the pipeline of diameter 700 mm that has had to span the river Ibar. Width of the river at that place is about 120 m. Problem has been solved by designing the self-carrying bridges in form of the space three-chords structure. It consists of two simple supported beams of spans of 58.16 +57.06 m. The height and width of bridges are 2.5 m. The pipeline has been used also as a structural bottom chord. The structure has been designed as the space structure with beam elements for bottom chord and truss elements for other elements. Capacity of K joints of bottom chord has been checked according to Eurocode 3. Analysis has shown necessity of applying ring stiffeners. Structures have been executed in workshop in three site partswhich have been connected on the existing bridge and put in river and lifted to the designed place.
