ABSTRACT
A sports hall on an elliptic ground plan of 96×64 m will be covered by a reticulated tubular shell structure having the form of an elliptic paraboloid. The columns of the dome structure are also tubes. The paper outlines the development of the structure and some problems in the static analysis, describes the fabrication process, and shows some structural details.
