Joints behaviour in the middle scale tests of steel frames with RHS columns

Due to the large number of test results of isolated frame joints with RHS columns and RHS or I profile as the beam the confirmation of their behaviour in the full frame would be especially interesting. Such tests of two frames in scale about 1: 4 with RHS beams and columns and two others with RHS columns and I beams are presented. The frames are two storey, two bay structures, where for the testing of joints behaviour only the beams were loaded. Each of the tested frames was loaded in the symetrical and asymetrical way. Finally, a discussion of the existing design predictions is presented.
