Stress concentration factors for K-connections between square hollow sections

After earlier studies by the authors, which concentrated on the fatigue behaviour of Tand X-connections, a large number of Finite Element analyses has been carried out on K-connections, resulting in parametric SCF equations. The accuracy of these equations is shown by applying them to fatigue test results and comparing the scatter band to that of the experiments.
