ABSTRACT
A series of 16 tests with composite columns filled with high strength concrete is discussed. The aim of the tests was to verify the regulations of Eurocode 4 for high strength concrete and to check a formula for the design of the load introduction into concrete filled sections. The background information for the design proposal is given.
