The paper describes the solution yielding the response of a two-bogie vehicle, using ADT 7300 hybrid system. The influence of the nonlinearities upon the form and magnitude of bifurcation areas of the given system was investigated and the results were compared with the experimental measurements.

The intention of this paper is not to present a generally valid model of the system bogie-wheelset and to determine its qualitative and quantitative dvnamical features in lateral vibrations, but to draw attention to some results obtained from the solution of a non-linear system, which have shown a good agreement with the results of experimental measurement
