ABSTRACT

The vibration test, numerical simulation and compaction experiment of chaotic vibratory road rollers (three types: 0.75t, 10t and 14t) are completed for transform theoretical research of chaotic dynamics into new technological achievement in roller engineering.

It is proved that the working efficiency of chaotic vibratory roller is higher 12.2% than that of traditional one.

One type of the wheel drive heavy chaotic vibratory roller (14t) is used in highway development in west China.
