ABSTRACT
The parameters and constitutive models identification of soil materials is the essential problem in the geotechnical engineering. Since it will influence the reliability of the computational results directly. This paper will be directed to the application of ANN and back analysis of displacement method to recognize the parameters and constitutive models of soil. According to the measured data of the second cofferdam in TGP, the results calculated from intelligence recognition method indicate that the methods proposed in this paper are feasible and effective.
