ABSTRACT
According to the cyclic triaxial test results for undisturbed NC saturated Shanghai soft clay, the model for cyclic excess pore pressure generation under cyclic stress-controlled loading is given in the paper. Based on the experimental results and equivalent over-consolidation ratio hypothesis, the shear characteristics degradation relationships for normally consolidated saturated soft clay after uniform cyclic loading are proposed.
