ABSTRACT
In this paper an attempt has been made to analyse the strata behaviour using rock bolts on the laboratory scale model of laminated beds. The paper deals with the effect of nature of the strata in the composite beam, effect of span length, variation of the load coming on the composite beam, so that a proper number of bolts and their orientation could be optimized for a given strata conditions. This study have shown conclusive results.
