ABSTRACT
After a short history of rock bolting showing the large development of this technique in the 60’s and 70’s, the authors give examples of applications in various mining conditions. From this large experience, backed with theoritical works, they propose a method for the determination of bolting parameters (type of bolts, length, density, meshing, ….) very easy to use for the miners.
