ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this paper is to outline the use of rock bolting in the People’s Republic of China, including a short history, state-of-the-art, design principles and some ongoing research activities. In addition, several engineering cases of rock bolting and cable bolting in some special field conditions are given in detail.
