ABSTRACT
This paper shows the most important experiencies during the last 14 years in Spain, about using rock bolting as mining roadways support.
Between 1.969–1.976, very positive experiences were performed in coal and potash mining in using bolting as final support system.
After 1.976, bolting om roadways affected by creep phenomena was tried. To warrant the stability of this type of roadways, a comprehensive Bolting Control System was developed, and this has allowed to achieve sucess on this Kind of problems.
