ABSTRACT
This article describes an application of prestressed cable anchor to strengthening rock mass of unstable steep high slopes of the rock trap pit of the intake at Jingpo Lake underground hydropower station during underwater rock plug blasting. The prestress tension is 1080KN. The arrangement and details of the cable anchor, method of construction and some results of stress measurements are reported.
