ABSTRACT
Spring 2001 a field test was performed in the Netherlands to increase the reliability of leakage detection systems and to find out whether they are applicable under Dutch circumstances. For the test five holes were made in the sheet piles of a building pit. The objective of the test, which was carried out with three leakage detection systems, was to locate the holes. With two methods it was possible to detect the holes at almost the exact location.
